What we’re looking for…  

The position is responsible for supporting the business through timely and accurate reporting and analysis.  The position will assist the corporate controller as well as the corporate accounting team with day to day responsibilities.  Additionally, the position will support the month-end, quarter end and year end close processes by creating journal entries and preparing reconciliations.

 

Expectations & Accountabilities …  

  • Provide support to corporate controller and finance organization for project related and process improvement initiatives
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes through analyzing results and creating and posting journal entries; produce account reconciliations and adjusting journal entries as needed
  • Manage the financial reporting process
  • Review account reconciliations as assigned
  • Assist with corporate audit
  • Support M&A integration efforts
  • Prepare state, local, and national tax returns and help ensure compliance with regulations
  • Ability to travel 5-10% of time via car and/or plane
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need to be successful… 

  • 3-5 years in a related corporate accounting role
  • Knowledge of SAP, S4HANA or other ERP systems preferred
  • In-depth emotional intelligence: behavioral maturity, demonstrated trust and integrity, high ethical standards, interpersonal competence and the ability to prevent, reduce and resolve conflict
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • PC Computer Proficiency: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint etc.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Qualifications that will set you apart….
