Position Summary

Completes various production tasks such as dispensing and assembling, under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor and Team Lead.  Contributes to the timely completion of manufacturing tasks to ensure that productivity expectations are fulfilled.  Works safely and effectively with the manufacturing team.

Position Responsibilities

  • Completes production tasks on a rotational basis as assigned by the Supervisor/Team Leader
  • Retrieves and verifies raw materials; follows department procedures to produce, package, label and palletize finished products as assigned by the Supervisor/Team Leader
  • Processes unused raw materials and maintains workplace organization throughout the day
  • Refers to charts for the necessary measurements, PPE, batch coding, etc.
  • Assists in completion of inventory counts as assigned by the Team Lead or Supervisor
  • Completes production documentation as required.
  • Completes quality checks and documentation as required
  • Identifies and assists in resolving potential Health and Safety risks
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs repetitively
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience

  • 0-1 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work at the appropriate pace to meet production targets.
  • Ability to work in teams, communicate one-on-one or in small group.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Knowledge of various equipment (Fill machines, pallet jack, box cutters, and batch/RF gun) is helpful.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and comprehend standard work instructions (SWIs), training, and equipment safety instructions.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures, including wearing personal safety equipment and completing appropriate safety training.

Education and Certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
