What we’re looking for…

Our Distribution Scheduler II’s support warehouse operations by maintaining the weekly schedule of deliveries. They receive all purchase orders into the inventory system daily to ensure accurate reflection of stock on hand, communicate purchase order discrepancies to the purchasing team, and guarantee the general flow of materials in the inventory system.

Expectations & Accountabilities…

  • Coordinate carrier appointments.  Communicate with carriers via email to establish accurate anticipated deliveries and input these deliveries on the inbound schedule.
  • Establish relationships with the planning team to better anticipate product needs and expected volume of raw materials. 
  • Communicate any known quantity or delivery day deviations to the planning and purchasing team.
  • Receive all purchase orders into the inventory system on a daily basis.
  • Mitigate purchase order discrepancies.  Communicate variances to the purchasing team.
  • Manage unscheduled / unplanned deliveries on a case by case basis.  Reach out to purchasing team to confirm receipt of product on non-scheduled delivery days.
  • Track deliveries that are out of tolerance relative to delivery day or quantity delivered.
  • Ensure proper implementation of the internal transfer process between Oatey operated facilities.  See to it that internal transfers are generated, and requirements are met for all product moves.
  • Coordinate repairs to tow motors, electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks and all other material handling equipment. 
  • Manage and ensure proper organization of product labels.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to be successful…

  • Good communication skills, English fluency, both verbal and written.
  • Three plus (3+) years’ experience with knowledge of warehousing operations and distribution systems.
  • PC Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, WMS (Warehouse Management System).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and generate results in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to present information in front of others.
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees.

Experience that will set you apart….

High School Diploma or GED required, four (4) year degree preferred.
