3rd Shift Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6:30am

What we’re looking for…

Partners with the shift Supervisor and assists in the coordination of production or shipping and receiving activities, maintaining quality control measures, monitoring productivity/service goals, and promoting a safe/lean culture.

Expectations & Accountabilities …

  • In conjunction with supervisor, oversee floor operations to include directing labor, the ability to flex labor based on business need, and the ability to maintain consistent work flow in all areas to meet customer service levels.

  • Ability to create fact based metrics and the ability to analyze data to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Review and analyze metrics/reports (i.e. Productivity, On-time Shipment, Order Accuracy, Workforce Planning, etc.).

  • Confident in making recommendations to team and adjusting operations accordingly to meet service goals.

  • Communicate in a professional/respectful manner operational priority, customer requirements, and develop teamwork between shifts.

  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed at all times.

  • Offer guidance and training when necessary to ensure lean practices as well as the safety and security of all associates.

  • May recommend corrective action for execution by supervisors or management as needed. Identify and develop opportunities for cross-training, back-up positions and individual training requirements to optimize performance capabilities of all shift associates.

  • Create and maintains a safety-conscious workforce by championing 6S, enforcing all safety policies and housekeeping practices, conducting safety meetings, and thorough accident/incident investigations.

  • Have a clear understanding of Lean philosophy and be a proponent of forward thinking and efficiency.

  • Have a base understanding of standard operating procedures and audit creation/completion. Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to be successful…

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Outlook.

  • Superior time and priority management skills with ability to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including listening, coaching, diplomacy, and conflict resolution. Excellent communications skills, and English fluency, both verbal and written.

  • Schedule flexibility required for 24-hour operation.

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of operations experience.

  • Manufacturing and Distribution experience preferred.

Education and Certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Operations).

  • Bi-lingual communication a plus.
